Okay, is it really any surprise that Luchino is going to be the one to start pushing this end of things? I mean really...
Anyway, he's going to be talking to the gods to see what they would take and if they would accept this situation for their dealings. Not sure how that will work exactly because I'm sure they really like their tribute and probably won't always accept them for some of their higher priced items just because :< love meeee
Anyway (can you tell I haven't finished my first cup of coffee yet?)
So what I'm thinking is that this is going to be based on gambling chips for now.
Basic Poker Chip Colors and Standard Values
White, 1
Red, 5
Blue, 10
Green, 25
Black, 100
With a possibility of moving to
White, 1
Yellow, 2
Red, 5
Blue, 10
Grey, 20
Green, 25
Orange, 50
Black, 100
Pink, 250
Purple, 500
Burgundy, 1000
Light Blue, 2000
Brown, 5000
(The "price" is just a reference for how the values might increase as the coins change.)
Option One
Each chip would be imprinted with the god's mark but the color would remain the same so I guess some gods could be picky (Eizon would not accept chips gathered from Zhen Ji for example). Then it would just be a matter of approaching the deity for specific things.
FOR EXAMPLE from Tare it might look like:
White coin -- flowers given to the shrine
Red coin - love stories, love poems
Blue coin - wind ornaments
Green coin - a pair of undamaged wings
Will not take coins from -- Ur'ghaste
Okay! So if you have any suggestions, let me know!
If this looks okay, I'll have Luchino go ahead and start talking to some gods about it and then get things into swing with characters. He would probably bring some of the other business owners in on this so
